The goal of the Orchestra is to bring talented Western Classical musicians of India in one platform and perform Western Classical and Indian music both along with European Maestros and performers in prestigious fests and venues all around the World. The uniqueness of the Orchestra is the ensemble not only performs the greats like Mozart, Bach and Beethoven, but the orchestra has a unique repertoire that includes Raaga based music precisely written for western orchestras and artists by Maestro Makhal – who already has an admiring and loyal audience for his music in UK, US, Italy and India.

Voyage To Europe

We believe, it is essential for students and you musicians to travel for concert and music workshop trips. It is when the travel to another city or country, they get the motivation and challenge. Students learn a lot from their peers in such tours, musically and personally.
We want to create such opportunity not only for students from India, but young musicians and students from all over the World to come together and celebrate music classical music from Western and Indian genre both.

Europe is the land where classical music began, nurtured and mastered for centuries. Presenting a concert in Budapest at the Danube Palace is the most ambitious project of Michael Makhal Symphony Orchestra – the firm that plans and manages events. Most certainly, it would be a historic moment for India to have an Indian Youth Orchestra performing at the Danube Palace in Budapest, Hungary, probably for the first time ever.

We also believe, its time when Indian orchestras should aim to venture in Europe and collaborate with young students and masters from European nations to perform concerts at International events and venues. India is full of magnificent talents and we can contribute to the Classical music World too by blending Western & Indian music and presenting something different to the global audience of orchestral music.
